Born on December 18th, 1968 in Madrid, Spain, Alejandro Sanz is a Spanish singer-songwriter and musician. Alejandro Sanz has won a total of 15 Latin Grammy Awards and 3 Grammy Awards. He has won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times, more than any other artist. He has released a total of 10 albums and 6 DVDs. Sanz's rise to fame began in 1991, when he released his first album from Warner Bros., 'Viviendo Deprisa'. In 1993, he released the album 'Si Tú Me Miras' shortly followed by a live album, titled 'Básico'. He released his third studio album, '3' in 1995. All three albums proved to be successful, reaching multi-platinum status in Spain. 'La Fuerza Del Corazon', the first single released from '3', was his first song to chart internationally.
