Born on May 14th, 1983, Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla, better known as Anahí is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress. She gained international fame after being cast as Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican telenovela Rebelde, and as a member of the Latin Grammy-nominated pop group RBD. To date, RBD has released 9 studio albums, including albums in Spanish, Portuguese and English. They have sold over 58 million albums worldwide, and toured across South America, Mexico, United States, Spain, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. Anahí has sold over 3 million albums as a solo artist. Her first solo album since RBD, Mi Delirio was released on November 24, 2009. The album has been certified Gold in Brazil, Anahí becoming the second mexican artist, after Thalia, who was certified Gold in that country.
