Sean John Combs, born November 4th 1969 is also known by his stage name 'Diddy' or 'P. Diddy'. He is an American rapper, singer, record producer, actor, and businessman, has won three Grammy Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and his clothing line, 'Sean John' earned a Council of Fashion Designers of America award in 2004. In 1997, Combs recorded his first commercial vocal as a rapper under the name 'Puff Daddy.' His debut single, 'Can't Nobody Hold Me Down' spent six weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, 'No Way Out' was a number 1 album and won the 1998 Grammy Award for best rap album. His second single, 'I'll Be Missing You', in memory of The Notorious B.I.G. debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Combs released his first album in 4 years, Press Play, on October 17, 2006 on the Bad Boy Records label with guest appearances from big name acts including; Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Nicole Scherzinger, Nas, Jamie Foxx and Fergie, to name a few. The album reached number one on its first week in the charts. August 2008 saw Combs venture into reality television with the premiere of his VH1 series 'I Want to Work for Diddy'.
