Michael Ian Black, born Michael Ian Schwartz on August 12th 1971, is an American comedian, actor, writer and director. He has starred in several TV comedy series, including 'The State', 'Ed', 'Viva Variety', 'Stella' and 'Michael & Michael Have Issues'. He released a children's book, Chicken Cheeks, in 2009. He is also a prominent poker player, appearing on Celebrity Poker Showdown several times. He has appeared on a number of episodes of Celebrity Poker Showdown as a celebrity competitor, appearing in five episodes, more than any other player. In the final table, he came in third, receiving $100,000 for the charity of his choice.
