Phillip Bryan Schofield, born 1st April 1962, is an English broadcaster and television personality best known for presenting shows such as 'This Morning', 'Dancing on Ice' and 'The Cube'. From 1994 to 1997, Schofield presented 'Talking Telephone Numbers' for five series and the National Lottery Winning Lines programme for BBC One between June 2001 and October 2004. From December 1993 until mid 1996 saw Schofield on stage playing the role of Joseph in 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. On the 14th July 1998 he returned to the stage to play 'Doctor Dolittle'. Phillip moved back to television in 2002 when he signed to co-present the flagship ITV1 show 'This Morning' with Fern Britton. The duo brought the show back to essential viewing, winning many awards including the National Television Award 2004 for 'Best Daytime Programme'. He later started up a new and successful partnership with Holly Willoughby which earned the show another National Television award in 2011. From 2006 to the present Phillip and Holly have also worked together on the award winning ITV show Dancing on Ice. Schofield now presents the Sunday night show The Cube, where contestants are given difficult and brain-straining tests to win up to £250,000.
